Savannah Jane Hill

MRS. SAVANNAH J. HILL was born in State Line, MS to the union of the late Mr. Albert “A. C.” and Mrs. Mittie (nee Hardy) Dixon. She completed her education at Greene Vocational High School and later Tougaloo College. She taught school at Hinds County Mary C. Jones Head Start for over 30 years. 
 

She passed away March 12, 2024 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. 
 

Funeral services will take place Friday, March 22, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Mt. Moriah MB Church in State Line, with Rev. W. E. Rankins as the officiant. Interment will follow at State Line Cemetery. 
 

There will be a viewing period Friday, March 22, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, prior to the funeral.
