Samuel LaCedric Henry, Sr.

ON MONDAY, October 2, 2023, God looked down and saw I was getting tired and “the time of my departure was at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith; henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them that love his appearing.”-2 Timothy 4:6-8. 

Mr. Samuel LaCedric Henry, Sr. was born on Saturday, September 4, 1982 to Eric Cedric Bolton and Tereca Ann Henry. He was the first born of two children. He answered to many nicknames during his lifetime; a few of them were “Cedric,” “Sammy,” “Naise,” and “Big Boy.”

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 9, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Greater Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Beaumont, MS, with Rev. Elijah Henry officiating. Interment will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in New Augusta, MS. 

There will be a viewing period Monday, October 9, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Greater Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
