Rolanda DeLaDoris McFarland

Rolanda McFarland, 46, of Shubuta, MS passed away on March 11, 2024 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. She was born to the union of James and Dora McFarland on September 6, 1977. She was a member of Greenhill MB Church. She attended Quitman High School class of 1996 and attended Pearl Rive Community College. She has one son, Ra'Quez Whitfield, to proceed her in death She leaves to cherish her sons, Ra' Darrius McFarland and Brayden Yates, 3 daughters, A'Nya Yates, Skyla Yates, and Demiyah Walley. Her fiancé Brandon Yates. Her mother and father Dora and James McFarland. 1 sister, Relanda McFarland. 2 nieces, Ra'Leigh and RyLand McFarland. 2 grandsons, KaDence Gandy and Legace Rankin. 1 God brother Marcus Stokes. 2 godsons Treyvon Johnson and DeJuan Ealie. 1 goddaughter Lakelye Pittman and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Green Hill Baptist Church in Shubuta, MS. Rev. Abraham McKenzie, Jr. will serve as the eulogist. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. 

There will be a viewing period Friday, March 15, 2024, beginning at 12:00 noon and ending at 7:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home, and Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Green Hill Baptist Church.
