Rodrick J’rell (Ben) McCarty was born on September 7, 1991 to Lucille McCarty and Rodrick Miller in Meridian, Ms. He was raised by his Grandmother, Irene Carter of Shubuta, Ms. He departed this life Friday, April 1, 2022 at H C Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman Ms.
The family hour will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 from 6-8 at Turner Funeral Home in Quitman, Ms. Services will be Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 2:30 pm at Family Life Church in Quitman, MS, with Elder Charles Goodwin as the officiating minister. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in the DeSoto community (Shubuta).
