Mrs. Rhadie M. Haynes was born August 3, 1934 and succumbed on December 30,2022. She was born to a single mother, Mrs. Annie Whitfield Ellebee. Her stepfather Jack Ellebee stepped in and helped to rear her as his own daughter.
She was a resident of Waynesboro until moving to Albany, NY in 1990.
Rhadie was very poetic; she loved cooking, and was an exercise fanatic at the YMCA which she attended daily until her health started failing her.
Rhadie was a friendly, loving, caring, and special person who loved Jesus, her Lord and Savior; and everyone she came across. She loved talking and making new friends.
Mrs. Haynes is survived by two daughters, Scottie McDougle-Winborn of Rensselaer, NY, Jalma McDougle-Fields of Clayton, OH; four sons Willie McDougle of Waynesboro, MS, Gregory Harris of Lincoln, NE, Rasul El of Albany, NY and Kwesi El of Albany, NY; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home, with Pastor Willie Charles Daniels, head pastor of Mt. Moriah Missionaries Church ry Baptist Church, at 269 Spruce Street in Albany, NY 12210 as the officiant. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
There will be a viewing period for Mrs. Haynes Friday, January 13, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home.
The repast will be held at New West Point MB Church, Waynesboro MS.
