Funeral services for Mr. Oliver Lendell Banks, Jr. will occur Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Melvin, AL with Rev. Cleo McGrew, Sr. as the officiant. Interment will follow at Kaiser Hill Cemetery, also in Melvin AL.
Mr. Banks, age 90, transitioned May 11, 2022 at Wisteria Manor in Shubuta, MS. He was a retired chemical engineer.
There will be a viewing period for Mr. Banks tomorrow , May 17, 2022 beginning at 1:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home. There will be a wake May 17, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, also at Turner Funeral Home. There will be another viewing Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM at the church.
