LESIA EVERETT was born August 4, 1963 in Waynesboro, MS to the late Ruth “Shirley Ann” Napier and the late Joe Louis McDougle.  She departed her life on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Ochsner Rush Health in Meridian, MS. 

LESIA was baptized in the Christian faith of Sweet Hope MB Church under the leadership of the late Irvin Moore. She was a dedicated choir member and loved leading various songs. 
 

LESIA was a very free hearted lady who enjoyed cooking. The kitchen was her baby no matter where she went. 
 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Travis Bernard Everett and one sister, Rhonda McGill. 
 

She leaves her memories to be cherished by four sisters:  Sharmanita Knight of Shubuta, MS; Debra Louise Whitfield, Tina Rena Everett and Shretta Everett; three brothers:  Curtis Leroy (Lashunda) Everett, Kenneth Everett, and Timothy Lee (Merrolyn) Everett, all of Waynesboro, MS, and a host of close family members and endearing friends. 
 

Funeral services will occur Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Sweet Hope MB Church, with Minister Chris Dukes as the officiant, with interment following at Waynesboro Cemetery. 
 

The viewing period will be held Friday, January 19, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home.
