MR. JERRY LEE PITTMAN, SR. was born on April 6, 1956 to the late Rev. Monroe Pittman, Sr. and Mariah Howard-Pittman in Sunflower County, MS.
Mr. Pittman was preceded in death by his first born daughter, Tonya Pittman, parents: Rev. Monroe Pittman, Sr. and Mariah Howard-Pittman; eight (8) siblings: Monroe Pittman, Jr., Johnny Pittman, Ruby Pittman-Davis, Lucy Pittman-Dean, Dan Pittman, Henry Pittman, Lindsay Pittman, and Shellie Steadman; father and mother in law: Mr. Ed and Mrs. Ophelia Wesley.
He leaves his precious memories to be forever cherished to his loving wife, Mrs. Tina Wesley-Pittman; five beautiful children consisting of three daughters: Ms. LaTeesha Pittman (Joseph Fair), Keiundra Pittman-Caver and Tina Pittman, and two sons: Jerry Pittman, Jr. and Christopher Pittman; five sisters: Mrs. Betty Carter, Mrs. Mable Terrell, Mrs. Charlottie Carter, Mrs. Mariah Foy and Mrs. Delia Parson; three brothers: Mr. Mark Pittman, Mr. Jerome Steadman, and Mr. Mitchell Pittman; sixteen grandchildren: Teiauna Pacley, Ahmad Pacley, Tonya Pacley, Keedra West, Joseph Fair Jr., Joselyn Fair, Jazariah Fair, Kayshayla Williams, Juquisha Pittman, Jerriona Pittman, Shyneesha Russell, Yeesha Russell, Kash Caver, Cristiana Pittman, Christopher Pittman Jr., and Chad Pittman along with ten great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters in law, brothers in law, as well as various family and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Lee Pittman, Sr. will take place Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at New Vision Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Ricky Chambers, Sr. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Pittman, 66, of Waynesboro, transitioned May 31, 2022 at his home. He was a retired oil field laborer.
There will be a public viewing for Mr. Pittman Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 PM, culminating into a wake from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM that evening at Turner Funeral Home.
