Jeanie Marie Smith

On Sunday, April 17, 2022, our beloved Jeanie passed away into God’s graces. A warrior throughout life, she was 57 years old.

She is survived by her husband, Keith (Bill) Smith of Ellisville , her brother Rusty Busby of Ovette ,Her Son, Chris Plylar of Biloxi , daughter Heather Mott (Justin) of Ellisville, stepdaughters, Shelly Smith of Saucier, and Stephanie Smith of Alabama,  and fourteen grandchildren.

She was predeceased by many family members she loved dearly:  Her mother, Johnnie-Sue Busby (Ocean Springs) father, Noel  Busby Jr.(Ellisville), sister, Lisa Landrum (Ellisville),  nephew Thomas Landrum (Ellisville), step daughter Shayna Smith (Saucier),and grandson, Peyton Plylar (Biloxi).

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 6:00 PM at Christ Church in Laurel, MS. Pastor Jason Capers will officiate the services. Interment will follow at White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellisville MS. 

There will be a viewing period for Mrs. Smith Monday, April 25, 2022 (today) from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home, and Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Christ Church in Laurel, MS.
