GLORIA ESTES was born in Waynesboro, MS to the late Henry Lee and Addie Warren, both of Waynesboro MS. She departed this life on July 12, 2023 at Wayne General Hospital. She was a member of Chapel Hill MB Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Estes; her parents, Henry Lee and Addie V. Warren; one son: Kerry DeWayne Estes; three brothers: Ray Charles, Johnny Mack, and Floyd Warren, and one sister, Elnora Warren.
She leaves to cherish her memories five daughters: Angelia (Frederick) Smith, Rita (Eddie) Rankin, Brenda (James) Estes, Shelia (Bennie) Estes all of Waynesboro, MS; two sisters: Ruby Warren and Yolanda Estes, both of Waynesboro, MS; a very special grandson she raised as her own child and loved dearly, Joshua Estes; twenty three grandchildren, forty nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; a special friend of many years, Anthony Bishop; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, four sisters in law: Irma (Will) Nobles, Doris Otis, Barbara Parnell, Armatha Buchanan and one brother in law: Louis Estes.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Chapel Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Danny Ray Bolton as the officiant. Interment will follow at Waynesboro Cemetery.
There will be a viewing period Thursday, July 20, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home.
