Frederick LaShannon Shaw

TODAY, we celebrate the life and home going of our beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend Frederick LaShannon Shaw. 
 

Shannon was born on December 13, 1976 in Waynesboro, MS to Jestine and the late Luther Donald Shaw. Shannon was a kind, gentle, and loving man. He departed this earthly life to be with his Lord and Savior early Tuesday morning, April 12, 2022. He joined the Pineville Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and was a graduate of Wayne County High School. 
 

Shannon is preceded in death by his father, Luther Donald Shaw; his grandfathers, Rufus Shaw and Ben Nobles; his grandmother, Jennie V. Nobles, and four uncles:  Ben Jr., McKinley, Excell, and Cleo Nobles. 
 

Shannon leaves behind to cherish his memories:  a loving and devoted mother, Jestine Shaw; two brothers, Kenyado L. Shaw and Kendrick D. Shaw, all of Waynesboro MS; one great aunt:  Cora Richardson of Maple Heights, OH; six uncles:  Ray A. (Bama) Shaw of Mobile AL, Samuel (Rita) Nobles of Saginaw, MI; Ervin Nobles of Tallahassee, FL; Louis (Flora) Nobles, Leo (Vera) Nobles and Jerry Nobles of Waynesboro MS; one aunt, Eunice Jordan of Waynesboro MS; three devoted aunts, Gladys Nobles of Phoenix AZ; Pastor Annisa (Harold) Nobles and Sherry Shaw both of Waynesboro MS; one niece, Patience Shaw and one nephew, Peyton Shaw both of Waynesboro MS, and a host of other relatives and friends. 
 

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Pineville MB Church, with Rev. John A. Robinson officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. 
 

There was a viewing period for Mr. Shaw Monday, April 18, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home.
