Flossie Hall Obituary

MRS. FLOSSIE HALL was born in Waynesboro, MS to the late A.L. Edwards and Viola (nee Frost). After completing high school, she was employed at Wayne General Hospital and became supervisor of housekeeping, a position she held until retirement. 
 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Hall, her brother, Ernest Curry, her sister, Edna Faye Dennis, grandparents:  Carlene and Homer Frost, aunt: Bernice Grismore, and one granddaughter, Shaneria Hall. 
 

She liked to dance, spend time with her family (especially her grandchildren), enjoyed listening to blues and gospel music, and she loved her job when she was working. She was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor. 
 

Mrs. Hall is survived by four daughters:  Carlean Wilson, Mary Alice Hall, Michelle Daniels, and Vivian McCarty; four sons:  James Wilson, John Shelby, Johnny Wayne Hall, and Willie Joe Hall; one sister:  Flora Coleman; two brothers:  Rev. Johnny Ray Edwards and Alfred Edwards, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. 
 

Funeral services will take place Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM at St. Luke MB Church, with Rev. Donald Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Waynesboro Cemetery. 
 

There will be a viewing period Friday, June 2, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home.
