Ernest Stelle Jordan

“I WILL LIFT UP MINE EYES UNTO THE HILLS FROM WHENCE COMETH MY HELP. MY HELP COMETH FROM THE LORD, WHICH MADE HEAVEN AND EARTH.”-Psalms 121:1-2. 
 

It was late in the fall of 1948, on the 29th day in November, the late Roy Eugene Jordan and Ruth Jordan-Miles welcomed their first child, a boy who was named Ernest Stelle Jordan. 
 

“KNOW THEREFORE THAT THE LORD YOUR GOD IS GOD; HE IS TGE FAITHFUL GOD, KEEPING HIS COVENANT OF LOVE TO A THOUSAND GENERATIONS OF THOSE WHO LOVE HIM AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS.”-Deuteronomy 7:9. 
 

Ernest Stelle Jordan left his earthly life around 7:30 PM at Pine view Nursing Home in Waynesboro, MS. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, his brother, Curtis Eugene Jordan, and his sister, Jackie Ruth Jordan-Caver. 
 

Ernest joined C &J Holiness Church of God #1.  He attended Riverview High School in Waynesboro, MS. 

Ernest was united in matrimony to Earlene Carter. To this union, two daughters were born. He leaves behind his girls:  Regina and Yvette Jordan, three grandchildren:  Calmerk, Carlos, and Vanessa, all of Albany, NY. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home, with Rev. Hal Hayes as the officiant. Interment will follow at Gin Creek Cemetery in Gilbertown, AL. 

There will be a viewing period from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Turner Funeral Home.
