Debbie Sumrall Obituary

Debbie Camille Sumrall was born August 17, 1969 to the Late Willie "Kent" Sumrall and the Late Lula Belle Lee at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. She departed this earthly life on Friday, February 2, 2024 at her residence at the age of 54.

She was educated in the Perry County School District. She graduated from Perry Central High School in 1987. She attended church at Sweet Home Baptist Church in Beaumont, MS.

As many knew her as "Belle, " they also knew of her loving and caring spirit. She was smart and had a humorous temperament. She was a little rebellious but was always Belle. She was employed throughout her life with Olive Garden, Ward's, Tater's, Service Master, and as a Caregiver. In her past time, she enjoyed fishing, solving crossword puzzles, watching “Jeopardy” and “Wheel of Fortune.”

Belle really enjoyed gatherings and spending time with family and friends. She had a green thumb and loved her house plants. She also loved to cook and was one of the best around.

Her passing leaves a void because she was a very kind hearted and giving person who left a huge impact on everyone she knew and met.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents and grandparents: Johnny and Marie Sumrall and her nephew, Michael Lee.

She leaves to forever cherish her memory and carry on her legacy: One son: Czaja Sumrall (Ardeshia); God-Daughter: Jaden Norris; One sister: Shirley Mae Lee; One brother: Willie Sumrall;

Three aunts: Tvmpie Baldwin, Carol Sumrall, and Juanita Sumrall; A niece: Khole Sumrall Special cousins: Roshounda Drones and Tamika Scott; A special friend: Rachel Ezell. She also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to cherish her loving memory.

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.-2 Corinthians 5:1.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Sweet Home Baptist Church in Beaumont, MS. Rev. Matthew Bolton will preside as eulogist. Interment will follow at Bolton Cemetery. 

There will be a viewing period Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the church, prior to the funeral.
