David Lee Walley

ON the morning of April 17, 2023, a period of existence was exchanged for eternity for Mr. David Walley at Wayne General Hospital. Mr. Walley was a life long resident of State Line, MS. He retired as a logger in the timber industry. 
 

Some of Mr. Walley’s immediate survivors include his wife, Elouise Walley; two children: Roderick Lockhart and Pamela Boykins; eight grandchildren:  LaErica Price, Jarius Gandy, Jamar Ware, Roderick Lockhart Jr., TeAnne Zeno, Brianna Boykins, Catylyn Boykins, and Eric Boykins, Jr., and six grandchildren:  Madison, Alazia, Lakyla, Kassidy, McKinley, and Kheaston. 
 

Funeral services will occur Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in State Line, MS with Rev. W. E. Rankins as the officiant. Interment will follow at State Line Cemetery. 
 

There will be a viewing period for Mr. Walley Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
