ON Thursday, October 26, 2023, we said goodbye to Chadderick T. Everett, a loving husband, father, and beloved brother. At the age of 44, Chadderick’s journey on this earth came to an end.
Chadderick was born on May 17, 1979 in Waynesboro, MS to his parents, James and Julia (Sturdivant) Everett, Sr. He began his professional life as a track driver for several years. However, driven by the desire to spend more time with his family and enjoy the rewards of his labor, he made a career change and ventured into the oil industry.
He was known affectionately as “Bear.”
His dedication and hard work led him from being an ordinary worker to achieving great success in the industry. Chadderick’s passion for his work was evident in every project he undertook. His commitment not only provided for his family but also left a lasting impression on the oil industry.
Chadderick embarked on another beautiful chapter in life, when he was blessed with three wonderful daughters: Chatara (16 years old), his youngest daughter, Passion (who is 6 years old), and stepdaughter, Ember, age 10. Family meant everything to Chadderick; they were at the center of his world. The next light that came into his life was on December 28, 2022 when he met his surviving wife, Shannon Regina Tanae Bethea Everett. They soon married after a brief courtship and went on to create a loving, beautiful and supportive blended family together.
Apart from work and family life, Chadderick had several passions that brought him joy. He was an enthusiastic fan of Dallas Cowboys football, always proudly predicting their future Super Bowl wins. Riding motorcycles brought him exhilaration and freedom like no other activity could. However, it was making people around him laugh that truly ignited his spirit. With a quick wit and an infectious smile, he brightened up any room he entered.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 2:30 PM at New Vision Baptist Church, with Apostle Darryl Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity Gardens.
There will be a viewing period Friday, November 3, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home.
