MRS. ANNETTE TROTTER TERRELL was born March 5, 1957, in New Orleans, LA to Wilmer Trotter and Mabel Brown. She was one of eight children.
In 1990, she moved her family to Laurel, MS. It was there she met and married her husband of 20 years, Mr. Elijah Terrell.
She was an active attendee of Morning Star Baptist Church and Christ Church of Laurel, MS.
She was employed for years as a CNA at Hearthside Haven Nursing Home and a counselor in the A & D Unit of South Central Regional Medical Center.
She was a no-nonsense and call it like she saw kind of woman, but most importantly, she was a woman of God. Later in her life, she moved back to New Orleans where she became an active member of the J9 Church family. She dedicated her life to Christ at a very young age and served Him until death.
Her final church home was Restoration Centre in Bossier City, LA. There, she met a church family whom she came to know and love, who loved her just the same. She was a very family oriented woman and took great pride in her family.
She was always down for the three “F’s”: Food, Fun, and Family time.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Greater Bright Morning Star Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA, with Apostle Thomas Keys, Jr. officiating. Per Mrs. Terrell’s wishes, she will be cremated.
