“ Janie” departed this life on August 12, 2023 at St Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Ms. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Dennis, Daughter Delecia and son,Darrius; 4 grandchildren: De’Kambrien, Allyssa, Addyson, and Ace.
She was preceded in death by one Grandson Di’Len Watters. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church in Shubuta, MS.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM at New Zion Baptist Church in Shubuta, with Rev. John Lacey officiating. Interment will follow at New Pilgrim Cemetery in the Hiwannee community (Waynesboro).
The viewing period will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home.
