A time to be born: Mr. Lester Earl Miller was born in Shubuta, MS to the late Mr. Cecil Miller Sr. and Miss Laura Clark on the date of June 23, 1935.
A time to die: Miller was 88 years of age as he departed his life on March 30, 2024 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS.
A time to work: He worked at Ferrell Clark Steel Company for many years and also served in the United States Army.
A time to cherish memories: Mr. Miller had three children, two daughters Divettee Miller Davis, from Fremont, Ohio, Chamise Miller from Port Clinton, Ohio, and one son Lester Miller Jr. from Fremont, Ohio. He had seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one brother Jimmy (Shirley) Miller from Waynesboro, MS, two sisters Rose Maurie McGill Derrick) from Waynesboro, Janie Mae Robinson from Dayton, Ohio, Sister Anna Lee Guston from Heidelberg, MS, (Special Grandson "Chip"), a devoted niece Mae Robison from Dayton, Ohio, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and two sister-in-laws Elizbeth Miller and Yolanda Miller.
Funeral services will occur Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Turner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Waynesboro Cemetery.
There will be a viewing period Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Turner Funeral Home.
